A classic put-down of female artists is something along the lines of ‘all they do is moan about their periods’. It’s a dismissive, sexist one-liner that even Team Girl Comic haven’t been immune to, despite having never printed a comic on anything close to the subject of periods before. And for that reason I doubt we ever will.
However, my little brother is away to bible camp this week, courtesy of our religious grandparents, so I thought I would recount my most prominent memory of my jesus sing-a-long and memory verse days. Take that, haters! :D
